I like the fact that they use the word “success” in what they say – this shows some form of commitment, and not just a seller of product.

Over the past few days I received this email, which is not an uncommon question, about what could possibly be the case if you don’t feel right when the Specialist says “There’s Nothing

Wrong” and testing shows that Blastocystis is not present in the tests, when it was there before?

I purchased your book on Blasto for my daugher who has been feeling nausea for about 6 months. She was finally diagnosed and took medications which seemed to work as a consequent test showed negative. However she has been feeling worse than ever and is at her wits end.

I feel her digestive system has been compromised by this horrible bug . do you have any suggestions?? We are wondering why she is feeling just as bad when “it” has gone. She has since gone to a specialist and he says there is nothing wrong.

Thanks for getting in contact.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I think a few points can be made here, and these are:

1. If you had a Car, you took it to a mechanic to have it fixed, he said, “Ok all fixed now” and couple of weeks later you took it back and said “it is still the same”, and the Mechanic said “there is nothing wrong with it” what would you do?

I doubt you would accept what was said, as I wouldn’t, but for some reason we accept what a “Specialist” says as verbatim when it comes to our health.

What a stupid thing for him to say, of course there is something wrong, otherwise your daughter would be fine and wouldn’t feel awful. It would be easier for him to say “I tried my best, but the limit of my knowledge means I can’t add anything further.” or “ok, the first approach didn’t work, but I do believe you, let’s try some lateral thinking.”

This is where the “it is all in your head” mentality springs from that doctors so love to tell us

There was a great piece that was said once by Allen Carr, the man who pioneered the “EasyWay” method of stopping smoking, and that was along the lines of “If a so-called expert tells you something, and it defies common sense, or what your own body is feeding back to you, then ignore it.”

2. Yes, your daughter’s digestive system is clearly compromised, and i would get some proper testing done by Metametrix – I did a blog entry about it – rather than the limited testing that doctors use now. It could be that the Blasto has gone, and it could be something else, but find out for sure.

3. It could be that there is a general food allergy as well, or there is a group of foods that she finds it hard to digest, have you tried eating under the “Great Taste No Pain” method of food combining? The link to Sherry’s system is here Great Taste No Pain Official Website .

If you follow Sherry’s principles to the letter, this will give the digestive system the greatest chance of healing.

This is the advice I would give everyone, if someone, even a “Specialist” says that “there is nothing wrong” when it is clear that there is! This is not an attack either on the person that asked this question, and please don’t interpret my answer as such.

It’s been a while since I have posted to the Blog and the one thing that I want to say is that is appears as time goes on that the popularity of this site and Blog gets more and more.

Some on the feedback that I get is very interesting, the vast majority of the feedback is positive and I am pleased to be able to talk to so many people that i do although I wish it was under better circumstances, as a lot of these people have been sick for a long time.

There is no two ways about it – Blastocystis is a nasty bug and I wish that I had the single magic bullet answer that can solve this ill instantly.

Alas the reality is different – it just does not happen that way. Blastocystis is a tough bug and is tough to shift.

The single most asked question that I get is “What protocol or what process did I use to get myself free of Blastocystis.” This simple answer is I did not write it down, and the Resource Guide that I put together was done after I had got rid of the bug.

However in saying this I followed the principals that I outlined in the Resource Guide, and to help you understand that sort of protocol I followed which was successful for me is outlined as follows.

The first thing that I want to say is that I am not a Doctor, and it is not my intention to give medical advice. This is my opinion, and I am doing this for educational purposes.

1. I did not start off with pharmaceutical drugs as the first method of attempting to get rid of this bug. I used natural alternatives, herbs , squeezed lemon juice in water, the “Great Taste No Pain” system of food combining, in fact anything natural that I could get my hands on to give my digestive tract the best chance possible of getting right.

2. I used also LIBBE colonic irrigation to give me relief – if you are considering doing this yourself I strongly recommend the LIBBE system as this is gravity fed and not a pressure feed system like the older colonic irrigation method.

3. I did follow an oxygen hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) protocol as outlined within the “One Minute Cure” book. I do not know whether people or doctors recommend this sort of approach, but all I can say is that I read the book, it made sense, and it did help.

4. The “Great Taste No Pain” system from Sherry Brescia” I still use to this day. It has been a revelation to me how simple the concept of food combining is that Sherry teaches, and I do feel better and did feel better when I followed the principals that Sherry outlines, and the times that I felt bad was when i did not follow those simple principals.

5. After I put all these things together – the natural alternatives, the “Great Taste No Pain” system, the LIBBE colonic irrigation system , the hydrogen peroxide protocol (and I followed them for quite a few months, approx 5 months I think?) that was when I took a course of Metronidazole 400mgs, three times a day for ten days. I took at the end of this course a broad spectrum probiotic for a week.

It is a source of regret that I did not write down what I did day by day, but I think even if I did do that and I published it, there would be people that would follow it, and if it did not get the same result or if they changed one part of it they would say that I was not correct.

So I haven’t published anything apart from general educational information.

All I can say is that all you can do (and I outline this in the Resource Guide) is that you make a choice or choices on a daily basis that contribute towards getting better . Some people will have recent infections and will find the process easier than those that have had it longer, and I have had on e-mail from someone who believes they have been infected with Blastocystis for about twenty years.

Every once in a while there is something that comes along that is truly that so revolutionary and so simple it makes you wonder weather it is indeed that simple at all. The Blastocystis Hominis Parasite – Where Does it Live to Cause So Many Problems?

The Blastocystis Hominis parasite is basically a microscopic parasite that is transmitted by feces-oral-feces mode. This is why Blastocystosis (the name given to the infection caused by this parasite) affects people who are exposed to poor hygiene and contaminated food or water. The major symptoms of the diseases are anal itching, diarrhea, excessive flatulence, weight loss, on-and-off abdominal pain among others. The Blastocystis Hominis parasite was initially thought to be one of the nine different species of Blastocystis that specifically infected human beings. Later however, scientists found that other species of the parasite could infect humans as well.

Not everyone who acquires this parasite exhibits infection-related symptoms. There have been plenty of instances where the so called Blastocystis Hominis parasite was found in the stools, yet there was no untoward health problem with the human carrier. Studies show that if the infected person’s immune system is strong, there would be no symptoms. However, if the person has digestion problems and/or weaker immune system, the parasite causes many of the earlier mentioned symptoms in an off and on mode.

In fact, if you find yourself suffering from a mysterious disease that brings about any two or more of the typical symptoms associated with this disease – you should look for the Blastocystis Hominis parasite or any of the other eight remaining species. Finding out what to eat when you have Blastocystis Hominis is something probably akin to playing Russian Roulette.

It seems that no matter what you eat, it works ok for a while, then the attacks start again!

If you want to talk about books like The One Minute Cure I always believe that one of the areas you should be cautious of when you write a blog is saying things that might go against what a Doctor or a health care professional might say.
