Just about the single most asked question that I get asked is:

How did you get rid of your Blastocystis Hominis infection?”

In some ways, it is almost like a dream that I managed to get on top of Blastocystis Hominis it in the way that I did, when so many people struggle for years without any success. With this in mind I thought I should put together a rough draft of a protocol that really puts the pieces together that helped me so much to beat Blastocystis Hominis.

This will evolve over time, and it formed the basis of my reply to an email I got a while back on Blastocsytis Hominis, and I will reproduce this for you now.

The protocol I used to defeat Blastocystis Hominis was:

1. Understand the enemy first – where does Blastocystis Hominis live, what does it do, what does it like, what does it hate.

2. Understand that Blastocystis Hominis lives mainly under the mucus layer in your digestive tract and colon. Eradicate the mucus layer by LIBBE based colon hydrotherapy (gravity fed) with plain water, and ease the load in the digestive tract by proper food combining (Sherry Brescia Great Taste No Pain as an example). As a footnote, some people say that “you can’t wash the bugs like Blastocystis Hominis out”. That may be true, but if you remove the single biggest barrier to eradication – a large protective layer – surely it helps?

3. Drink plenty of fluid – I mixed in the juice of half a lemon per litre of water (Blastocystis Hominis hates an alkaline environment).

4. Try Natural approaches first rather than drugs – the drug should be a layer of last resort rather than first point of call.  This is as per Dr Mark Wiley’s advice. Make decisions on a daily basis that contribute to the balancing of your body, and make these decisions consistently.

5. Get rid of the erroneous thinking Blastocystis Hominis can be finished and everything is back to normal in a week or two. It took me 4 – 5 months of fighting it before I felt repaired and back to normal. Understand that even if there was a magic wand and you could get rid of Blastocystis Hominis immediately, carry on and allow your digestive tract to repair itself. I find this is the most telling factor – people so expect to go to a Doctor and it to be fixed with a prescription – that when this doesn’t happen, that adds to the feelings of despair, and a self fulfilling prophecy of “It can’t be beaten” occurs. Blastocystis Hominis can be beaten – it just takes time and an open mind

6. Understand completely the benefits of H202 therapy. Read and understand the very good book written by Madison Cavanaugh. After I finished everything else, adding in Hydrogen Peroxide therapy was like the “Coup de Grace”. I had this overwhelming feeling of “something was gone” after I completed a H202 course.

7. Don’t listen to people who say “It’s in your head” or “you need to toughen up”, or, “there’s nothing wrong with you”. If the Blastocystis Homins is in you, there’s a good chance it could be the cause of your ills. Don’t listen also to people who say that it is “normal” to have Blastocystis Hominis, and isn’t a pathogen – there is overwhelming evidence it is a disease causing bug. Go to When Did You Get Sick Blog and have a good look at some of the entries there.

8. Understand what the Blastocytis Hominis is living in conjunction with, it very rarely lives on its own. It could be H Pylori, Candida Albicans, Giardia, and any other types of bugs and nasties. Solve them both at the same time, the protocols and plans of attack can be quite similar.

9. Don’t be afraid to sack the Doctor if they don’t listen. Some Doctors are brilliant and have an open mind, some don’t.

All of these points I discuss in the Blastocystis Hominis Resource Guide.

Blastocystis Hominis is an awful pathogen!
